The ENTRELED project is at the forefront of innovation in vocational education and training (VET). Its mission is to equip trainers and teachers with the knowledge, tools, and recognition they need to support learners with learning difficulties in building their skills in circular economy, sustainability, and digital transformation.
A cornerstone of ENTRELED’s impact is its smart use of microcredentials, designed to validate new competencies acquired through the project’s blended learning approach.
Through the ENTRELED project, TVET trainers access eight carefully designed modules hosted on Moodle, covering sustainability, circular economy, entrepreneurship, digital skills, inclusive teaching, and assessment strategies for students with learning difficulties.
Once a trainer completes the required modules and meets the completion criteria, the process is simple and automatic. Trainers receive a “magic link”, which gives them instant access to MICOO, the project’s dedicated digital credentialing platform.
Via MICOO, the microcredential is automatically issued, providing trainers with a secure, shareable and portable digital record of their learning achievement.

International Compliance
The microcredentials developed by ENTRELED through the MICOO platform comply with robust international standards:
- They are built according to 1EdTech standards, specifically Open Badge 2.0 and the TrustEd Credential Framework, ensuring their reliability.
- They follow the European Learning Model and are compatible with European Digital Credentials, making them relevant and portable across Europe’s learning and employment ecosystems.
One of the strengths of ENTRELED microcredentials is their flexibility. Holders can:
- Share their microcredentials online to showcase their expertise on professional networks or personal portfolios.
- Export their credentials in various secure digital formats.
- Import them directly into Europass, enhancing their official training record and employability profile.

Quality Framework of ENTRELED 3 Microcredentials
ENTRELED’s microcredentials are not just technically strong — they are also backed by a quality framework aligned with the World Alliance for Microcredentials Foundation. This ensures that every credential meets high standards of design, transparency, and trust.
Through the ENTRELED pathway, VET trainers can earn three distinct microcredentials, each recognising a specific area of upskilling:
- Circular Economy, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Circular Economy and Sustainability
Module 2: Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
Module 3: Green Skills and Circular Economy
- Business Strategies for Green and Digital Transition
Modules:
Module 4: Digital Tools for Green Companies
Module 5: Development of Sustainable Companies Based on Sustainable Economy Principles
Module 6: Create Business Strategies Using a Sustainable Circular Economy Model
- Learning Difficulties, Differentiation and Assessment Strategies
Modules:
Module 7: Understanding Learning Difficulties
Module 8: Evaluation of Students with Learning Difficulties

A Future-Ready Opportunity for Educators
ENTRELED’s approach empowers trainers not only to develop new knowledge and skills, but also to gain recognition for it — instantly, digitally and with international credibility.
The project invites education and training providers, especially those working in entrepreneurship, sustainability, digital skills, and inclusive education, to access the open resources, complete the online courses, and earn their ENTRELED microcredentials.
By doing so, they help build a future-ready VET ecosystem — one that supports all learners, values green and digital transitions, and champions innovative, gamified, blended learning.
